You can't talk to them at all. The one I deal with yells shamelessly for a very, very long time if you try to talk to her. When you think she's done and open your mouth she continues and will keep screaming until your ears hurt bad enough you give up. Sociopaths can control themselves like they do in front of bosses but don't around co-workers because they don't have to.
